Authorized by RUFF Business Information Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.,
RUFF Business Information Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. is the sole corporate juridical person in China authorized by China Wushu Administrative Center of General Administration of Sports to run "RUFF China". To promote and timely report the mixed martial arts (MMA) live events, Canadian entrepreneur & investor of RUFF Mr. Resnick Joel founded the RUFF official website (WWW.RUFFCHINA.COM). Since its register in June 2009, the website has repeatedly introduced MMA, an excellent spectator sport integrating entertainment and competition to the public and achieved a certain reputation in China, providing a brand new platform for RUFF to display a wide range of martial arts and fight styles. The news release on the website has been published and broadcasted by a number of domestic & foreign media and well-known websites, contributing a lot to the enhancement of China sports fame in the world, exploration of modern civilization, and buildup of an international competition-entertainment brand.
With regard to this, I’m authorized to make a solemn statement as below:But recently, some parties have made use of certain websites and media to mislead the public and violate the copyright and reputation right of RUFF, incurring significant losses to the company.
I. Any organization or individual must stop all illegal activities of slandering and belittling the MMA events promoted and run by RUFF.
II. Any non-commercial use of articles, pictures, portraits and other information on WWW.RUFFCHINA.COM by any organization or individual must be indicated its source.
III. From the date on which this statement is published, any organization or individual with violations set forth above shall make apologies within the scope of its infringement to set the record straight.
IV. I have started to investigate about infringing parties’ legal responsibilities and earnestly request relevant media and websites to follow the basic law principle of “news shall take facts as the basis and the law as the criterion”, and not to make reports and publication incompliant with the actual facts, in order to avoid unnecessary litigation and straighten out the law.
