on 17 April 2013 Tags: RUFF, Super Fight

If you try to find out which names are most eye-catching on RUFF roster, Rodrigo Caporal undoubtedly falls in the list. This Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion and black belt from the well-known Atos Team has brought such a technical marvel and visual enjoyment to Chinese MMA community and enthusiasts. If you didn't get to know this 29-year-old guy in the match, you must have thought he is a Mr. Nice who loves family, surfing and football. But once he steps into the cage, a beast comes out from his body. The brilliant 5 winning streak RUFF record inevitably earned him a shot in the Super Fight on Feb.2, 2013. "I had known I'd win the championship belt in the first day of competition. I'll be always victorious whenever I decide to fight." He said confidently, "of course, all other fighters are great. This inspires me to train harder."

To train hard is the motto of this Brazilian jiu-jitsu master. He only took a four-day rest before he finished his super fight and returned to Brazil to visit his family. "When I stayed in Brazil, I used to train three times a day. I participated in two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship games and won the both. I don't care how much money I could make but I'm just a person who will never stop training." However, this training ascetic turning a blind eye to fame and fortune really enjoy his victory very much. "I went out for wild celebrations with my family and friends. They all think it was a flawless victory and everything was so perfect. The prize money also came to me at a right time! It can be used to help my mother and family."

When recalled to that wonderful afternoon of February 2, he showed his satisfaction on all aspects of the perfect fight. "With regards to Wu Haotian, I saw his performance in Legend Fighting Championship. I think he is a great opponent and I'm very honored to fight against him for successive 2 times." He was polite and respectful as always when talking about his opponent and each detail of the fight. He believed he would not leave his beloved cage in the future. "My contract with RUFF will last for more than 2 years and I'm very excited waiting for the next matchup."

More training, more competitions, Caporal always look forward to another victory. He was born for fight and has been striving for his favorite career. Let's wait to see his extraordinary performance!

The main event is sick. I'd put my money on that Thai kid any day of the week. Yeah, Brazilians are tough, but every third one of them is...
