Having already scouted some of China’s top MMA talent, RUFF (Ranik Ultimate Fighting Federation) is now opening our cage to the next generation of Chinese MMA fighters on December 10th and 11th in Chongqing, as part of our 2012 MMA Fighter Search.
RUFF is China’s first ever government-sanctioned professional MMA organization, and in anticipation of our upcoming event, RUFF 2, which is set for December 17th at Chongqing’s JiangNan Sports Center, we are sending our scouts to the Chongqing Nanping Wanda Plaza at 12-noon on December 10th and 11th to search for any qualified athletes looking to fight at our events in 2012, and beyond.
Our fighter roster currently consists of 30-plus fighters from Beijing, Shanghai, Xi’An, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Gansu, Heilongjiang, Hebei, Henan, Liaoning, Jiangsu and Yunnan, and we are hoping to find the best athletes from Chongqing, Sichuan and Hubei to fight in future RUFF events.
Ideal candidates will have previous fighting experience in either MMA, Sanda, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, wrestling or Judo, and will need to present some form of recommendation from a coach, trainer or Martial Arts club.
All fighters must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in China, and must arrive with their own training gear (shorts or pants, rash guard, mouthpiece, athletic supporter and hand wraps).
Fighters interested in participating in RUFF’s 2012 MMA Fighter Search can also register here.
