More from RUFF 5 and MMA H.E.A.T.: Post-fight interviews

on 09 October 2012 Tags: Liu PingYuan, MMA H_E_A_T_, Rodrigo Caporal, RUFF5, Wang Guan

In cooperation with RUFF, MMA H.E.A.T. recently posted a series of post-fight interviews with several winners from RUFF 5’s September event in Inner Mongolia.

Liu PingYuan, who is currently riding a three-fight win streak, which includes a “Submission of the Night” performance, speaks after his hard-fought split decision win over Zhang MeiXuan.

Rising star Wang Guan, who remains undefeated in RUFF competition, shares insight on his unanimous decision victory; a victory that triggered quite a bit of talk in the Chinese MMA community.

And Rodrigo Caporal discusses his future after his MMA H.E.A.T. main event win over fellow lightweight Wu HaoTian. Caporal silenced critics of his striking game by knocking out the hometown favorite in the night’s main event.

RUFF 5 took place Saturday, September 8, 2012 in Hohhot's Inner Mongolia Indoor Stadium, China.

All of thirteen of the RUFF 5 fights can be seen complete on the RUFF YouTube page.

Weigh-in recap (co-sponsored by MMA H.E.A.T.) can be read here, as well as the RUFF 5 Official Results.

The main event is sick. I'd put my money on that Thai kid any day of the week. Yeah, Brazilians are tough, but every third one of them is a black belt. A Muay Thai dude who can rock submissions though? Now that's another story...

Tie Quan straight up demolished Reinhardt with that nasty guillotine choke; boy's got skills for sure.
