While the eyes of the MMA world will be focused on Sydney, Australia come February 27th (9:00 am Beijing Standard Time), Chinese MMA fans and the China MMA Blog have little interest in the main Pay-Per-View fight card; we’re far more concerned with Zhang Tie Quan as he attempts to defeat American Jason Reinhardt.
Coming off his first-ever MMA loss, a unanimous decision to Danny Downes last December, Zhang, a member of the China Top Team, will be fighting for the first time on Australian soil. But, given the current ban on Facebook in China and the announcement that Zhang’s fight will not be aired as part of the PPV broadcast, how can China MMA fans watch their hometown hero?
The answer is simple.
MMA fans interested in watching Zhang Tie Quan vs. Jason Reinhardt, along with other fights that will go un-aired on the PPV, can simply tune into Sohu MMA to watch the “Mongolian Wolf,” as he squares off in his highest profile fight to date.
Shanghai MMA fans interested in watching the live Pay-Per-View event may also want to consider heading over to Big Bamboo to catch the main card.
